Applications, Sales and Service Engineer - Motion Control

Responsibilities

• Engineer should assume responsibility for selecting, sizing and recommending products, systems and solutions to customer requirements.

• Generation of quotations and technical proposals.

• Provide first line technical support on the products and where necessary perform front line faultfinding and or commissioning.

• Visiting customers, suppliers, Product training, exhibitions and events where applicable will involve the need to stay away from home on a regular basis. Must have experience to handle customers in Automotive, Machine Tools, Material Handling, Process Plant, Chemical and Pharma industry.
  

Reporting: This will include customer plans, Journey plans, Prospect plans and forecasts.

Qualifications:
The candidate will be a self-motivated team player, with qualification Diploma / BE (Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electrical) / B. Sc. with 2 - 5 years of experience in field of Applications / Sales / Service or be able to demonstrate relevant practical experience. Understanding of motion control, scientific research equipment or machine maintenance is essential.

An important part of the role is the ability to solve problems systematically with confident use of mathematics, as the candidate will be required to generate solutions from first principles e.g. size motors, drives, power supplies etc. Programming with PLC (Programmer Logic Controller) / HPC (High Performance Controller) is desirable but not a must.

The position is based in our Head office and Works at PCNTDA, Bhosari, Pune - the candidate preferably should be located within easy traveling distance.

Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. The company will fund traveling on company business.

Candidate must have his own two-wheeler for local calls. Petrol expenses will be reimbursed.
